Dinosaurs - Spring Term 1

What we have been doing so far...!

"We have been reading story books and information books about dinosaurs. I liked the poem about the Ankylosaurus best!" - Sophia


"There were some big eggs on a tray and they cracked...and there was slime in there but the dinosaurs had gone! We couldn't find them, we looked outside and there were some footprints on the steps and in the sand-pit but we couldn't find them." - Ellie 


"I like the Ankylosaurus because it's got armour on!" - Addison 


"There was a little crack in the eggs and then it got bigger and bigger. The dinosaurs started to hide and we couldn't find them. We looked for them inside and outside but we couldn't find them. There were some footmarks in the sand so they were heading that way." - Tabitha 


"We have been growing crystals with a jar and a spoon and sugar and some salt.We have to wait for a couple of days. I've written some instructions so my mum and dad know what to do." - Sandeep

Making dinosaur junk models: "We're working as a team...we need wings because we're making a pterodactyl." 

Digging for Dinosaurs! "I've found a triceratops, it's got three horns...that's a pterodactyl, it's got wings."
